Inspired by nature, and a belief that art can be a place to rest in a chaotic world.

Throughout history, cats have  had many symbolic meanings and superstitions attached to them. They have been worshipped as gods, abhorred as demons, and  were considered companions of witches in European folklore.  I believe that black cats are good luck. Many artists have had cats, including Picasso, Matisse, Monet, and Marc Chagall.
